Cenote Cristalino

Cenotes like this one are common on the Yucatan Peninsula. A cenote is a natural fresh water swimming hole. Some are in caves, others have been exposed and are now open to the air. This one had a part that was a cave and the other part was open. Cenote Cristalino is located near Playa del Carmen, which is a very touristy beach city. From there you can visit the island of Cozumel, which is a great place for scuba and snorkling trips as long as you don't get sea sick.
