This picture was taken in the icy waters of Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. The park is famous for its beautiful waterfalls, that range from less then 28ft (8.5344m) to more than 70ft (21.336m). The Appalachian trail cuts through the park and is a great place to do some day hikes, there are also other hikes to go to waterfalls like this one, just be warned that even in August the water is freezing.
